Since the year 2008, the KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY developed perfect cooperation with private and public schools and universities in Cyprus and abroad. We develop special and customized programs depending on the institution's needs, and level of the students, to fulfill all requirements. They may also chose any of the existing STEM/STEAM programs to be delivered.

Specialized programs for kindergartens, for junior schools, gymnasiums and lyceums, for institutes, colleges, universities and others institutions, whose curriculum permits to make the educational process more interesting and diverse.

The visit includes a guided tour to the radiotelescope used for NASA Radio Jove project adn a brief introduction to radioastronomy. At the exhibition we take you back in time and talk aboout Pangea, our active planet, the formation of Cyprus, Cyprus geology and fossils. A brief mention of how the first animas came to Cyprus and endymic species. At the planetarium theatre we wil offer you a unique and unforgettable experience of a STEM/STEAM interactive presentation. Finally, at the observatory dome using specialized Solar telescopes we will travel you to our nearest star. In case of an evening/night session, we will give you a guided sky tour and telescope observations of the best visible celestial objects of the night.

Topics can be chosen and customized according to the curriculum or can be selected from any of the available topics.
