LARNACA ANTI-DRUG ASSOCIATION

The Larnaca Anti-Drugs Association is a non-governmental volunteering organisation, which has been operating in the town and district of Larnaca since 1990. The association applies the general policy of the state in the struggle of preventing the use of addictive substances, as defined by the Cyprus Anti-Drugs Council. Its programs are addressed to the wider social groups and aim at the individual’s physical, mental and social wellbeing, the promotion of health and the development of personal and social skills that ensure wellbeing.

The Association holds annually in September the All-Cypriot event 'I exercise against addictions'. It is a large program with many sport and other activities.

Since 2012 the KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY participates in the All-Cypriot event 'I exercise against addictions', making its own contribution in direct help for the association.
