RADIO TELESCOPES
The Observatory participates in the NASA RadioJove project.
It conducts observations of Jupiter and the Sun in the radio range using a radio telescope with a dipole antenna.
The data are sent to NASA.
At the excursion to the radio telescope visitors acquaint with the instrument and how it works. At the observatory the visitors can hear how solemnly the Sun and Jupiter sound. The Observatory makes this dream - to listen the sounds of space - comes true.
A new radiotelescope dish is under installation.
