The Christina A. Apostolou Foundation helps children in need for treatment in Cyprus and abroad, assists disadvantaged families and has also created a blood bank, which actively supports the local Larnaca General Hospital. In addition, Christina Α. Apostolou foundation established the "Youth String Orchestra Foundation - Christina A. Apostolou", composed of 22 talented young violinists. In addition, it has undertaken, in cooperation with the Municipality of Larnaca, the refurbishment of the children playground in Larnaca Municipal Gardens.

The Foundation holds an annual event every September called ''Festival of Love and Humanity''. It is a large festival appropriate for the whole family.

Since 2009 the KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY participates in the "Festival of Love and Humanity", making its own contribution in direct help for children in needs.
