Celebrate with us the World Space Week 2025 and learn about "Living in Space"

"Living in Space" explores how humans survive, work and thrive beyond Earth.

It includes life aboard orbiting space stations and plans for settlements on the Moon and Mars.

 It highlights groundbreaking advancements, from life support systems and space habitats

to research on human adaptability and resource utilization in extraterrestrial environments.

The full Moon on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 is going to be a Supermoon.

The reason is the very close to the Earth location of our satellite in its orbit!

Due to its movement in an elongated orbit, the Moon is either approaching or moving away from the Earth.

On October 7, the Moon will be closer than usual.

Such full Moons are called Supermoons.

Join us at the KITON PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY premises in Kiti to observe this magnificant view from our large telescopes.
