The full Moon on October 17, 2024 is going to be a SuperMoon.
The reason is the very close to the Earth location of our satellite in its orbit!
Due to its movement in an elongated orbit, the Moon is either approaching or moving away from the Earth.
On October 17, the Moon will be closer than usual.
Such full Moons are called Supermoons.
Join us at the KITON PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY premises in Kiti to observe this magnificant view from our large telescopes.
