Since 2008 KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY has offered Science Café sessions for all visitors
to share their passion for science and astronomy. From the year 2021 we are holding Science Café meetings online,
where visitors from different parts of the world participate in our online sessions, discussing observations,
latest news in astronomy and sharing their achievements.
The KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY will host an online science café
on Tuesday 28th March 2023 at 20:00 (UT+3).
The topic is “GLOBAL ASTRONOMY MONTH 2023.”
Mr. George Troullias (Cyprus National Coordinator for Astronomers Without Borders and Global Astronomy Month)
will present the events and activities that will take place in Cyprus and globally
during the celebrations of the Global Astronomy Month, April 2023.
