Since 2008 KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY has offered Science Café sessions for all visitors
to share their passion for science and astronomy. From the year 2021 we are holding Science Café meetings online,
where visitors from different parts of the world participate in our online sessions, discussing observations,
latest news in astronomy and sharing their achievements.
The KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY will host an online science café
on Tuesday 25th April 2023 at 20:00 (UT+3).
The topic is “DEEP SKY IMAGE PROCESSING. FROM STACKING TO FINAL RESULT.”
Mr. Artem Mirgorod (Ukraine) is an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer.
During the session, he will share his skills and experience in astrophotography.
He will demonstrate how to stack images of deep sky objects and process them using freeware software.
You'll become familiar with basic features of DeepSkyStacker and Siril applications.
Don't miss it! A lot of interesting information will be released.
