EXHIBITION

The Exhibition is dedicated to the natural history of Cyprus. It has impressive collection of minerals and fossils. Aaccurately chosen showpieces brightly demonstrate different phases of geological formation of the Island and evolution of its inhabitants since the moment when Cyprus arose from sea depths. They tell interesting story of the life on the land and in water. Some of showpieces were brought from abroad to create the whole picture of life evolution on the Island in the contest of the whole planet Earth. Some of showpieces arrived to the Earth from the deep space. These meteorites can tell the story of the creation of the Solar system and the important catastrophes on the Earth. Some of models were created by our team. Many special exhibitions on particular occations are organized during a year.

An excussion to the Exhibition must be booked in advance.

Some topics of the educational programs such as summer schools are conducted at the exhibition departments.

Volunteers are welcomed to classify and to work with the exhibits.
