we ease some of the burden by providing free ‘home away from home’ accommodation."

As an independent charity, we rely on the support and generosity of our volunteers, fundraisers

ASTRONOMY EVENT - SUNDAY JUNE 2, 2024

During this event, the KITION PLANETARIUM & OBSERVATORY, fundraised for the RMHC Cyprus

by performing Solar Observations using Coronado Telescopes with Hydrogen-α filters which made it possible

for the general public to observe the Sun's Chromosphere, but also with Meade Telescopes with UV blocking fliters

which gave the opportunity for observations of the Sun's Photosphere.

The event was inspired and organized for the RMHC Cyprus by Mrs. Evita constantinou
